Who created "if"

I wondered who is the person who created "if". If there is no if, things will not be so complicated. If there is no if, things will not be worsen. But why am I contradicting myself by using all the "if" when I don't want them to exist? I don't know, if only things are better, I will not be so stress.. I have to work from 3-7pm later..
